Endeavour Silver Corporation: Supply and Demand!

Endeavour logo 11oct07

We would like to draw your attention to an article entitled: Silver Fundamentals – “Supply and Demand” prepared by Endeavour Silver Corporation, which they have just completed.

The data is current to the end of 2007 and is supplied by two of the world's most respected precious metals organizations, the CPM Group and GFMS/The Silver Institute. To view the brochure, please clink on this link.

Some of the highlights are:

· Investment demand in the form of Silver Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) continues to grow.
· Industrial applications, once again, accounts for more than 50% of total demand.
· Above ground physical inventories remain close to historic lows.

Endeavour Silver also has a web site, which contains a mine of information, excuse the pun, and is well worth a visit, just click this link.

As regular readers will know we do own this stock and it forms part of our core holdings.

Have a sparkling day.

We must also be aware that the ETF is being corrupted by naked short selling. This is a fact that Butler has written about with clarity at Investment Rarities. Now that there are shares issued (phantom shares) the reported sales of SLV are unreliable and corrupted. There may well be more shares issued than are backed by real silver. This will throw all the rest of the inventory data into the proverbial cocked hat.
