For those of us who enjoy a good rant from time to time this competition looks like being a real blast. Amateur writers and budding commentators will battle it out to win one of the many sparkling prizes including, but not limited to, a one once gold bar provided by Kitco.com, a trip to a mine provided by San Gold Corporation, silver coins provided by Endeavour Silver Corporation and an opportunity to be interviewed on Korelin Radio.

On a weekly basis the Rant finalists will be given a new topic to write about
and their commentaries will be posted on the site. Users read the Rants and vote for their favorite. The contestant with the fewest votes for the week will be eliminated, the remaining competitors continue to the next round etc.
